anyways...the reason I have been holding off on posting this is because I know nothing about Ocean Shores. I've just been told its a nice little place and would be a nice/fun drive.

from what I hear we would probably want to make this more of a weekend excursion. So what I was thinking that we would all just meet up at the OG spot on the morning of the 21st and just cruise down to Ocean Shores (not sure of the route, cause like I said I've never been down that way)...make a couple stops alot the way for some grub and maybe a nice little photo op and have a jolly ol' time in Ocean Shores. Live it up and head back on the 22nd.

I'm not completely sure if this is the way everyone would want to do it, so if you have any suggestions please let me know

Alright, so as of now the plan is to head down to Ocean shores (route will not be told until the day of the meet). The main group will be staying at the Ramada Inn and will head back Sunday afternoon. The other group (that doesn’t plan to stay the night) is on their own once we all get there. I know some of you plan on taking 101 back, that is fine. All that I ask is that no one gets too crazy and draws attention. I don’t want the trip back for the main group to be a PIA because the people that didn’t decide to stay messed up.

Anyways, the day of the drive we will meet at the OG spot in south center in the morning (around 10:30), there we will discuss the route and general rules. While we are there I will give every car a packet containing information about the drive (map, hotel address, numbers for group leaders, two-way channel, etc)…

Please remember that this is a cruise NOT a rally. We will obey the speed limit for the most part. I, or another group leader, will be leading the pack down. I wont get into the rules right now, I am going to save that for the meet.

If you do not plan to meet us at South Center and plan on joining up along the way please PM me so I can let you know where we will be taking breaks along the way and update you a little more on the route.

Remember to bring:
-V1 (or other radar/laser detector)
-Camera
-Two Way radios
-Good attitude

Not sure yet if I'm down for this. Some 'stuff' is supposed to be going late April, so I'll know closer to mid March.

i will probably be there and i will try to get a few peeps to roll as well. ocean shores is always fun. i used to go there every year growing up and i would always be doing the go-karts. the slick track is always fun with doing the drifting and what not

all makes and model are welcome this is not just a bmw drive

I organized this run for the puget sound bmwcca some years back. And I DO remember there was a Laguna Seca conflict back then also. I might be able to make it, but if not, you'll have a good time! I suggest you go through Gig Harbor, Shelton, Matlock. Good mexican food there. go-cart track may be open. I had two meeting places: one in Seattle and one in Gig Harbor. Shrug. FRS radios are a good idea. Blah blah blah! Just make sure you stick the V1 folks in the front and rear of the convoy. Damn...I do ramble sometimes.

Hey i might have my M3 by then, i would have to head over there after work and spend the day on Sunday. I'll also see if my dad is interested in bringing the 308, if you guys don't mind. He will probably be to scared to get beat by all these Bimmers. :)

yeah, one of my favorite drives is the 101 loop from OC up to Port Angeles and back through Olympia...........101 is fun as hell to haul ass on and the twisties by Crescent Lake remind me of Chuckanut.........

my g/f will be with me so we might just head home the long way and take that shit.........would love to have company though

yeah, it takes a bit but it is well worth it.......

im probably gonna do it that day instead of staying in OC.........my buddy is gonna go in his modded Porsche 951s and we're gonna do the full 101 loop.........might bring others as well

i missed a day of work yesterday becz of being extremely sick and not being able to leave the house........

.......my paid time off including sick leave renews 5/31/07 so i have no PTO to cover yesterday.......becz of that i wont be getting paid for yesterday plus i wont receive my monthly performance bonus......

.......so missing yesterday basically cost me $696 :mad

Bump for interest....

Alright everyone, its coming up quick. So I figured I would let you know where to be and when and what to bring.

Alright, we are going to meet at the Edmonds ferry terminal around 9:00. We wont be leaving on the ferry until around 10:45. But I want everyone to be there early so we all head out on the same ferry. Getting across is CRUCIAL.

If you feel like taking a different route, let me know so I can let you know where we will be stopping. I know a lot of you might not want to head up to the edmonds ferry terminal and if thats the case, you can take the seattle ferry and I'll let you know where to meet us at.



What to bring:
-good attitude
-V1
-two-way
-bathing suit
-extra clothes (if you plan staying the night)
-money (gas, food, little for hotel)

and mike and james, I know what you are bringing....and no I am not drinking. So dont even try.

If you want to bring a map, thats fine, but not necessary. I will be giving each car a packet containing the route (w/maps) as well as some numbers and other misc info.
