new to the 320 so i have a few questions about the heating system. it took me awhile to figure out the controls but i've got it now. anyway i have heat blowing thru the lower floor vents but no heat (blowing cold air) thru the front vents and no defrost hot or cold. has anyone else experienced anything like this

the tension on your controls is probably loose. Over time they stretch out and dont work well, mine do that. There is a coolant hose that comes out of the cabin (from the driver side) in the engine bay and it attaches to the heater valve, its a circluar type thing that has the wire that comes from your controls. If you turn the knob that connects to then it should blow heat. as far as the direction of the heater, the tension on the wire on that knob is loose, that one is more of a pain in the ass to adjust. but if you turn it back and forth you can get the idea for how it works.

By no heat from the front vents do you mean the defroster? That's a separate issue and Broly has steered you in the right direction about that. As far as the center vents, you wont have any. The center vents are fresh air vents only. Probably not the type of setup you are used to...

Hope this helps!

yeah I adjust that when I want heat, I didnt want the hassle of replacing the wire that attaches to it, so it takes me 5 seconds to pop the hood and flip the switch.
