I've had this problem since I bought the car. The car rocks and shakes unlike the majority of stable bimmer rides I've been in before. Also when I step into the gas to accelerate the car begins to pull left, forcing me to counter steer right just to keep her on the road straight. The latest symptom to the problem, as I'm hoping it's all related issue, is a newly bald patch on my tire. Long before it should be worn. I got the tires with between 80 to 90 % tread left. Now the drivers front tire has a strip about 2 inchs wide closer to the outside of the tire which bare bald rubber... I'm thinking suspension, possibly the strut? As I'm replaced a lot of the bushings and tie-rods already on both sides of the front suspension. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks

i would suggest getting an alignment first. Did you get an alignment after replacing parts? Sounds like something is completely out of wack.. possibly bent arm.

Somethings probobly loose down there. Go get it alignned and see what they tell you when you get the whole thing checked up.

I have had a wheel alignment done... The frozen casters were out, in a pidgeon toed fashion. Both facing in and off by a few degrees each... but they were out even, both out the same amount. And the tread wear is only affecting the one tire, the front passenger tire being a mirror image of the drivers side is fine.
