And the aux cooling pump directly under them. To get to these they should be covered with a plastic cover that pulls straight up and off. the pump was put in because the normal flow of the engine didn't send enough water through the heater core. Art Heritis 02-15-2007, 10:52 PM at operating temp, isyour temp gauge either low OR high? If so, bleed the radiator. Air in the system can cause problems. Also, the themostat might be suspect. sfgearhead 02-16-2007, 12:41 AM our touring is also very slow to heat up. is there a procedure to check the valves and the aux pump? brosher 02-16-2007, 03:12 PM I'm thinking thermostat. Where is your temp gauge? Does it go down on the highway? ElSupremo 02-16-2007, 06:01 PM My Touring heats up fine, and the defrost/heater blows nice and hot. The problem I have is it's only cold air that comes out the back of the console for the rear passengers. clevertd 02-16-2007, 06:58 PM My Touring heats up fine, and the defrost/heater blows nice and hot. Their heat comes from below the front seats. ElSupremo 02-16-2007, 07:20 PM That's what it's supposed to do, sucks for the passengers:D. Their heat comes from below the front seats. Really, I didn't know that. I wasn't sure, but my kids complain all the time.:stickoutt wmann 02-18-2007, 11:09 AM The temp gauge is constantly in the middle once warmed up. It takes about 4-5 min on a very cold day to move the gauge out of the blue. I am not sure when the last time the microfilter was changed, I will look into that. whats is the procedure to check the valves and the aux pump? I also dont think that the fan blows as strong as before, but it does have all speeds do I dont think it has a resistor problem. Thanks for the help, and look forward to getting the latest reponses.
