i mean i would THINK both conforti and AA software SHOULD in theory work, bc its the same engine, but there are probably other variables i dont know about, so possibly it doesnt, i would hope that it does, i would like the exta 200 rpm of the shark and going 8100 in 2nd and 3rd...

I have not verified it that is truly from Mr. Conforti on Roadfly since Roadfly is a PITA to search.

Anyway, it discusses the notion that there is very little to be gained from any software upgrades to the S54B32 motor. Very little being six horsepower.

E46 M3 software will not work on the MRoadster/Coupe. AA is currently developing some new software because I'm in constant contact with them waiting for it to be released. The DME in the MRoadster/Coupe is completely different than that of the E46 M3. They basically had to start over from scratch.

For the small demographic and limited numbers of sales, I doubt they'll actually make the effort into making a chip for the MZ4.

The car was on the dyno being worked on last time I called them about it... just wasn't finalized yet.

Do you know if you are going to have to mail AA your ECU to get it reprogramed or are they going to use a Shark Injector type programer?

I have been looking for the same thing for my 07 M Coupe. I have a shark injector for my 02 M Roadster but I don't want to shark the 07 with it because I don't know if it will work. I will keep looking though and post if I see something.

The two are not compatible...

This car certainly runs pig rich... I'm sure they can lean it out a bit and produce more power.

So far what I know is that software is very complicated. It is more like the new M5 instead of the old M3.
