I just broke a strut so I decided to redo suspension and get rid of the sls. I am putting new springs and shocks. Now the tires are the original with the original wheels. What is the best wheel size to handle correctly. Thanks

The general wisdom is that 16" is the best overall look/fit/performance, though I run 17" and I'm very happy. Beyond that you're banging the suspension pretty hard...
Rondell (available here (http://www.thewheelexchange.com)) makes some nice stuff for reasonable money (just look at the wheels or E39 5-series). I'd also check the Tire Rack for options there. As for tires, I'd go with whatever the Tire Rack survey ranks the highest. I have all-season Pirelli P-Zero Nero M&S and love them.

If you're after Alpina style rims, you can get a copies here: http://www.abrahamsmotorsport.com/kopi.htm
Personally I am staying with 16' because of the our roads...

especially if you are replacing the stock TRX's. Now the purists will only want BBS style 5's. I love them polished but it takes some work. You can find a cheap set on ebay usually for around $600.00. I'm kind of partial to the Rondells or the BMW style 32's. I put a set of Khumo 235/45/17R's on all four and they handle great even in the rain. Go to tire rack and read the feed back to your hearts content. I got mine at Discount Tire and you can read the feed back there as well.
