Yeah, I know.. I said I wanted 17's but I like the look of these wheels and now I can run them all year round and spend my money on more important things like suspension upgrades, chip, and major servicing to get her running and driving like new again. My 525 is champagne and I think these will look just fine, especially for the money. I read somewhere that they're made in Germany too which is nice. Would hate to bolt on rims made in China, just wouldn't seem right on a euro classic.

I could buy them new from the tire rack for around $120 each so I didn't want to spend more than $200 on a used set. They look to be in nice shape, I should know for sure in about a week.

hell, I dunno yet. There is a good chance one will go pretty soon, but who knows, maybe they will both be up for sale.

Yeah, mines been in the garage for a few days because of the weather. She's going in for a major service on the 19th to bring her up to date. Hope things go well with yours.

No, that's the way I bought it about a week ago. The paint is excellent and the interior is real clean. It doesn't smell like it was cleaned, smells like leather. I used to detail cars years ago, someone either did a real nice job on this one or it was done on a regular basis over the years to be this nice.

To me the 6 is a great runner and I wouldn't want the 8. I have 2 bikes when I want to go fast. The bimmer is my cruise machine, I drive it like an old man except on the highway. For some reason she loves to go 90mph..:D

That's the nice thing about used BMWs. Many past owners, mine and apparently yours, really cared for the car. Hell, mine had a full detail before I bought it, and he was just a private seller.
