View Full Version : So about the wheels I won...
SEWELLM3 02-13-2007, 04:36 PM Thanks again to Angie for setting up last weekend's meet!
I got lucky and won the Velocity Motoring wheels in the raffle. As Halston has repeatedly pointed out to you guys in various threads :rolleyes , they don't fit my car and I need to sell them. I was wondering what you guys thought would be a fair price for them. Retail is $699 plus shipping. They are new in the box with BMW centercaps and setup for E36/E46(non-M) fitment. I'm going to use the money to buy wheels that actually fit my car (from a local member) so hopefully it'll all work out.
So, what do you guys think about fair price/best place for me to sell them in order to get the most money to put toward the other wheels I want. And for those who are going to say...blah blah you won them so you should hook somebody up...blah blah, you'd do the same thing if you won :)
Wheels Specs:
Model V708
Gunmetal
19x8.5
5x120 Bolt Pattern
Offset +38
Hub 72.56
bcart1991 02-13-2007, 04:40 PM They won't exchange them?

bcart1991 02-13-2007, 04:58 PM If I did not already have TWO sets of 17's.
..I'd also need that extra $800 laying around part too.
adeelpowers 02-13-2007, 05:24 PM I'm with Dean. Stop being a baby and buy a car to fit those rims on.

They don't make wheels that fit my car. I've talked to them. I'd like these to go to someone local...I deliver :D

eman930 02-15-2007, 02:56 PM SewellM3,
I'm local and while I don't have a BMW, I am a good german car afficianado as you fine folks. I have an Audi A4 Quattro and was thinking about picking up a set of RS4 reps. If Velocity is willing to swap them out for me for the proper Audi fitment you may end up with a deal on your hands... let me know... thanks, E-man930
SEWELLM3 02-15-2007, 03:06 PM eman930,
post your email for me, I'm checking on it
SEWELLM3 02-15-2007, 03:58 PM ok, so they won't do it since it was a "bmw promotion"...???
Danny K 02-15-2007, 04:37 PM well since no one else will, ill start the bidding
175$ :D
SEWELLM3 02-15-2007, 04:46 PM I put them in the FS section for 650...local members would be saving 50 plus all shipping charges, plus I'll deliver them.
Edit: Modbargains has them for $699 plus shipping so I dropped the price

dos Santos 02-16-2007, 05:36 PM Bite me. :rofl
I work for Audi. It just looks odd to me.

Gotcha. Well, I like them on my car but I do get a few negative comments on them occasionally. My next set of wheels look similar to the RS4 reps but they have a lip and I'm gonna do a staggered fitment.
