Hey guys today while ripping in the rain/snow my WG signal line (vac line) blew off the compressor outlet area. WG side held, but the other side didn't. Do you guys use zip ties or something to hold these bitches on? I am using 6mm silicone so it shouldn't have expanded much due to heat but who knows. Because my WG line blew off, the car saw 345 kPA or about 35 psi of boost, it was very fast.
just kidding, i have over-boost control it cuts fuel spark at 185 kpa, but still... how do you guys keep them puppies on?

Watts brand (Watts Valve & Regulator) high compression pinch clamps.
Available at Lowes actually!
Or try www.mcmastercarr.com for all the clamps you can shake a stick at.

Got a pic of said clamp or is it just a conventional small worm clamp? Unfamiliar with that kind.

Zip ties are your friend. Use them on everything.

I zip tie anything that see's boost, or hose clamp it. I even have the ICV hose clamped on.

All of my boost lines on the STi were zip-tied. Can't go wrong with Zip-ties, half of my car is held together by them.

Don't forget to secure the vac line to the fuel pressure regulator.

Why:confused? I say use zip ties on my car for a lot of stuff (nothing is boosted yet) and it holds very well.
