yeah, i have driven a white E30 M3 w/ an S50 in it and it was pretty nice.
I need a DD and this looks like something i could work with.

I think Jed sold his E30 M3 S50 back when he bought the ///M6. :dunno
smocan 02-13-2007, 03:58 PM Def a nice ride right there, probably wouldnt spend that much for an older m3 like that tho
it's no E30............oh wait :shifty
Try posting in the Southeast forum. It's in North Carolina.
sKunkman 02-13-2007, 05:28 PM Is this a Euro motor? It says 275hp...

ummm, first gen m3's in that condition and mileage are always worth more than e36 m3's. actually, i thought that price was a little low.

Yeah. If that car is as minty as it looks, I think that price is very good.
Do e30 M3 purists frown upon the motor swap?

yup.
it's S14 or bust.......... but they respect carreraboy911's DTM replica S50B32 e30 m3.

Yeah, I can see that. Those cars deserve nothing less than a "true" BMW Motorsport engine.
I would not kick this particular e30 out of bed though. :)

Yeah, they seem to have some sort of absurd obsession over a buzzy four-cylinder that tends to wear out or blow frequently and costs a bundle to rebuild.
twhlax3 02-14-2007, 12:00 AM damn, i was thinking about this car all day, then i met a kid in my linguistics class that has an all-original e30 m3 he picked up for 9 grand. this car looks gorgeous but i was debating its value with the transplant.. check it out though!!

Mine's got 168,000 miles (over 20,000 on the track and close to 1,000 autocross runs) and the original engine is still going strong. The head has never been off. Sorry John.
John V 02-14-2007, 08:32 AM Famous last words, old man. :stickoutt

M-technik-3 02-14-2007, 10:10 AM Mine has 260k on it, but dont have a maintance records for it either. Runs ver very strong for an engine of that age.

Don't worry, I only wreck the I-6 motors.
FastrTHNu 02-15-2007, 01:32 PM This car doesn't exist...
huh?
maxxfish 02-15-2007, 06:55 PM The car as advertised does not exist. It is a non-running, half-finished project car that was refused by a very reputable shop because it was such a mess. I know because I was very interested in it, but got some shady info from the seller. When I researched it, I was told that the car was not as advertised. Sorry, but I was just as bummed.
4WDrift 02-25-2007, 01:27 PM See if Korman Autowerks in Greensboro knows anything about it.
