Hi everyone. I'm getting ready to install my M Coupe Diff Cover.
Do I need to use RVT or some kind of silicone sill for the gasket?
Or the paper type gasket that comes with it, will do just fine?
Thanks,
Arpee

I used the Wurth sealer with no gasket.

I used a sealer with the gasket.
Make sure you have the right bolts before you get started- they are not the same as the stock diff cover.

For reals though. I'm doing my flywheel/clutch and my M coupe diff cover this weekend. You can use two of your original bolts but need 6 new longer ones. Grade 8.8 of course ;). I was just planning on using that weak ass paper gasket, but after reading this I might use a sealer as well.

a sealer isn't necessary though, but it wont hurt. I installed my without a sealer and never had any leaks.
