the oem M3 shift lever w/ carrier will work with your 318

So this is a short throw shifter that I could put into my 325is for shorter shifts? What's the bottom part? And how would I go about putting this in..

Using the oem M3 shifter will shorten your stock throw ( not as extreme as a true short shift kit, but a good improvement )
