Black96m3 02-14-2007, 10:07 PM hey Ken, what color is your car? I saw a white M3 on Utopia and Northern. Wondering if its yours.
Kenshiro 02-15-2007, 12:17 AM Artic Silver. I'm around Utopia and Northern a lot though.
Did you still want those ///M valve stem caps and the oil cap? You didn't respond to my last email.

oh yeah, forgot about that. Yeah I could pick them up but right now cash is low. My shop is milking me dry. Where did you get your Euro drivetrain parts?

cowgod 03-16-2007, 02:10 AM Hey,
Does anyone know where to buy the euro 6 speed tranny??
Vic85 03-17-2007, 02:19 AM Hi, is this a complete tranny conversion need to convert from auto to manual? can fit 92 E36 318. Really sick of my auto tranny hehe.
Kenshiro 03-18-2007, 07:42 PM Yes, this is a complete transmission conversion from auto to manual.
Naturally, I'm not going to ship it to Singapore though.
So Live 03-18-2007, 10:58 PM Hey, im not sure you saw my post, how much for the flywheel alone? I figured out its lighter then the 95 one and the clutches are better supposevly for the 3.2l cars.
Thanks
RJ's325ITS 03-26-2007, 10:17 PM 5spd ZF Gearbox from '98 E36 M3. Approximately 85,000 miles
- Has the sticky 5th gate problem, can be fixed with the $20 kit from BMW in 15 minutes while out of the car
My friend is highly interested in this package, but we are drifting away form it b/c we would be buying a tranny that already has a problem. Would you mind telling us what is that kit you talked about, We will like to know what we will get ourselves in to.
Thanks.
Kenshiro 03-28-2007, 08:44 PM The fix kit is a replacement sleeve and seals for the piston that controls the 5th gate movement, which has an antifriction coating different from the one used in the stock ZF kit and released by BMW as the stock coating absorbs oil over time depending on the fluid used (looks like the major culprit is the additives in Redline). Part #'s and further description are available in a (massive) thread here (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=48002&highlight=sticky+shifter)
You pop open a seal, pry out the sleeve with pliers after pulling out the piston, tap the new sleeve in with a rubber mallet, replace the piston, seal, and circlip, and you're done.
e36mpwr 03-28-2007, 08:50 PM oh, willing to ship to colorado? 80120? thanks

95RedBMWe36M50 04-15-2007, 04:35 PM Is the complete kit still available? Will offer $900.00 for complete kit (including support brace) and will pay for common carrier shipping to Tampa, FL. Rational for offer, can purchase a complete kit from Bavarian Auto Recycling for $1500.00 with warranty and no 5th. gear problem.
Let me know,
Kenshiro 10-24-2007, 09:07 PM I just realized this stuff is still in my garage. New lower prices.

Hathaway 11-26-2007, 11:31 AM Interested in diff. How much shipped to 49004?
Also, is the M3 diff the same as the 325? Could you send some dimensions?
Kenshiro 11-27-2007, 05:20 PM Shipping on the diff by UPS Ground is looking to be about $100 inclusive of packaging by the local UPS store in the continental US.
@Hathaway: all US E36 3 series cars should be able to use the 188-case diffs. I had to swap out my whole rear subframe to fit the larger euro diff.
very interested in the differental and subframe
Are you able to ship this to sweden? will ofcourse pay the shipping.
Hathaway 11-28-2007, 10:43 AM Does the diff have any leaks? How many miles?
Edit: Your first post says 85k on the trans, so the diff probably has the same.
