looks like i found his hideout inside my air intake. i found a large nest of paper towels, insulation (hopefully not from my interior), accorns, and crap. unfortunately, the little bugger was nowhere to be found.

my filter was PACKED with anything and everything he could find.

You will have to change your handle to - "Grim Reaper"

Those little critters have a marked affinity for air cleaners....one nested in my wife's Sequoia while it (the car) waited for repairs following an accident a couple of years ago.

Ahhhh, the sylvan life.....ya gotta luv it.

Haha, wow. Talk about a shocker for him if he was in there when the car was started. That would be one serious air dry!

the wierd thing is that i drive this car every single day and he still nested in it. i think what i am going to do is attatch a mouse trap with double sided tape to the area where i found the droppings and check back every day for him.i tell you what though...if i found out that that thing tore that insulation out of my car seats im going to toss the thing in a freaking blender

does anybody recognize that insulation from anywhere in the interior?

Looks like he has family living in the attic of your house.

The insulation might be from the hood cushion if you have one. Check the back side of the cushion.

I bet it's trained to come running when it hears you pull in to your parking spot. The engine being all toasty and warm. This used to happen all the time with the tractor we had on the farm I grew up on in New Hampshire. Chipmunks, mice, for legged fur balls squeezing into tight spaces.

I like the double stick tape rat trap idea, I bet it'll work.

Good luck hunting!!!

Skin him and save that pelt, hang it above your car to warn off the rest of those little buggers!:evil2

or use as a coffee cup warmer...

If you have no pets roaming around, consider rat bait (poison): blinds 'em and they seek the light so they die where you can see them (and not in a hard to reach place where you'll only know by the stench).

Had a Benz that got chewed up bad by those rascals!

Awe, for the love of God! You should have said something sooner! They seemed kinda earthy, but I thought I was just finishing off the bar nuts.

completely unrelated, but still in the same ballpark of the great outdoors......
i washed my car yesterday, drove it to work and back (about an 8 mile round trip) and today, i walk past my car in the garage and see this.........

so in the course of about 10 minutes i seem to have splatted every insect in the tri-state area! *following in the footsteps of metatron in dogma* "it never ends!!!" :mad
