Never heard of such thing, but i could believe it. BMW has been one to stay true to its heritage, so perhaps they knew it would be a good idea to keep one as it was exactly the day it was built. Museum piece. But i have to say, not liking the white grill on an E24.

This car is located in Burlington, Ontario, as I remember in closed building of former BMW dealership. I read about it some time ago in maxbimmer forum: there is a story

Wonder if the awful grill was why it never left?

that is a good story about it.

$80g for a brand new old 635....and that white grill was an expensive option/upgrade from the factory.

I didn't read the thread - guess I should.

$80G is a joke for that car, and I'm virtually certain that nothing that awful ever, ever came from the BMW factory on an E24.
