I'm on the fwy. cruising at 75. I see some blue lights coming up from behind 1/4 mile back. I slow to 65 and wait. After a few seconds he catches up and I accelerate to 80 with him. I give him a little pedal action *back-forth* and I see him do the same...

I wait for his down-shift and sure enough I hear it (I'm guessing 3rd at 80/ 6sp?). Anyway, we're off and right away he gets the jump to 1/2 a car I get it right back in 4th and start to pull ahead. End of 4th I'm 1 car ahead. I shift to 5th and start to really pull. I shut down at 130-135 about 3-4 cars ahead. He slowed back and never tried to pass. I got off and went home...;)

Nice kill, our inline6s breathe well at highway speeds. I think that kill poll would work if it was tended by a mod.

More like, your inline6s don't top at 130 with gears and 140 without.

sounds about right. i had similar results with a friends s2k, although, from 0-100, i couldn't catch him after he put almost a cl on me from the jump. good kill!

Good Kill those S200s are pretty sweet but the E36 do have good pull on the top end

I think the S2000 was stock? Not too sure. Maybe an intake and chip?

Either way, I'm bone stock except for 91 octane and always a 15$ bottle of NOS octane booster.(NitroMethane!):eek:


I really just use it because I hear pinging with the crappy gas in my area and Black NOS takes care if it completely. I dont think it gives much boost...In reality its my butt-dyno.:stickoutt
