Dunno. They came off a 95 M3. Part numbers do change. I didn't purchase them, they came on the car from the PO

If anybody is unsure, just call Eibach. That's what I did when I purchased my used springs. Here is the number:

1-800-507-2338

and thanks, just tried to call, their system's down right now. However, the number stamped on the front spring is an individual part number which doesn't correlate in any way to whats posted on their website/catalog and is not equal to a complete kit part number.

You're right, it's not. That's why when I called my springs were actually the correct ones for my car, even though the numbers on the springs did not match the number of the kit.

I do not know if they would fit a 96+ car. Try asking in the E36M3 forum? :dunno
