Although my SES light isn't on, I tried out my new Peake R5/fcx and it came back with a 0b8b code. If I understand correctly, this translates into a 2955 (=0x0b8b) equivalent in OBD II? The Peake manual says "Electric Thermostat control final stage', so what does that mean?
Thanks,

this means your t-stat is bad. most likely corroded internally. remove the thermostat plug inspect for coolant. they are know to leak out of the sensor into the wiring harness and up into the engine controller where corrosion will cause mulitiple issues. if no coolant in the wiring harness replace the thermostat.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll certain look into it. I guess it's probably due, the raditator and expansion tank have been replaced.
