Was driving home yesterday from work and low and behold a C6 vette comes up next to me and luckily there was no traffic in front of us. I hear these things are beasts over 75 mph. I stuck w/ him up to 125mph and then he started to leave me. We were racing up a good sized hill so i think i could have done better if it were flatlands. I would have given him a thumbs up but I let off before the downhill section that leads to where there is usually a cop. Oh well.. it was fun and Im happy I stuck w/ him that long.:redspot

stage 3? are you N/A or S/C? If you are S/C then i am guessing he was toying with you cause that car is monster from any roll or from a dig......especially compared to the E36 M3.

I had a pretty quick E36 M3( RIP) and my brothers C5 would rape me on the highway and all he had was a catback exhaust.

I had an E46 M3 and C5 Vettes could take me. I'm sure C6s would have eaten me alive.

My car is s/c. I dont lie about things- it was a good race. I love those vettes too. Although I havent driven one yet. I did get to drive one of the new M5's and those cars rock! I do have one picture of my car but its not a good one- my driveway is off camber and it doesnt show how good my car really sits. I'll try to find a way to post it here.

I totalled her. I was on 95 and it was raining and i had just got off the phone with my GF( who was behind me!) and i was in 4th gear at 70mph( not paying attention what gear i was in cause i was on the phone with my gf). Well i went to hit 5th, but instead hit 3rd. Now to give you an idea of how bad my shifter slop was, when it was in gear it still felt as loose as when it was in neutral so it was easy to get in the wrong gear.

Well, when i hit 3rd and didn't realize, the car snapped sideways( also do do baaad bushings in the rear and bad tires) and i fought across 3 lanes to get it under control but couldn't do it. I hit the guard rail and that was what totalled it. Thankfully noone was hurt, but i did tag another lady who actually was able to drive away when info was exchanged.
