I like to toss this idea around sometimes so I thought I'd get some opinions. There are a few things I was thinking of, and I was wondering what others thought, or knew from actually doing the swaps.
Questions
What is needed (besides the motor)?
Initial Cost?
Long term maintenance and cost?
Longevity?
I was thinking S50B32, S54, or S62. Right now the car is daily driven and when I get lucky, hit the track or auto-x. One day this one may get stripped down and only see track days, but I think I may just get something else for that since I like this one too much.
So what do you think, what would be the best overall option? Am I just smoking crack when it comes to the S54 and S62? I've seen it done, but not many have. And no, I'm not going FI. Thanks!
