Well, I'll try to describe this problem. All I'm trying to do is set the default to the satellite mode so that whenever I elect to turn on the radio it is already set to satellite. It seems if I leave the radio off for a few minutes it reverts to FM. It a little annoying. Is there a fix to this??? BTW this is a 2006 328i.

I have a similar problem. When I am on the CD/MP3 mode, I would like to have the list of mp3 displayed all the time sintead of the Track 1,2,3,4... I don't want to hit a button to switch to list. Is there a way to do this?

I wish I knew. Its my wifes car so I'd really like to get this fixed too. I'm frustrated because besides not fixing it, it causes constant reminders if you know what I mean. lol......

Which radio is this(not that it should matter)? I thought that the last station listened to became the default.

My car (335) defaults to the last station listened to - radio or satellite.

I thought the same thing. Usually the last station played is what comes up when you re-start the car. The interesting (frustrating) thing is if I restart the car within a minute or two it comes on with the satellite. If I wait awhile it defaults to FM? Go figure..... Weird.... Right?

Sounds like your key memory might have some type of error. It should remember all the setttings for radio and climate that you had the last time you drove. Might want to ask your service advisor about it.
