If your alternator bushing are wearing out is it possible for them to cause a shortages, because I was told this when I was getting my car inspected and I have never heard of this happening due because of a bushing. Does anybody know if this is true or if they just wanted to make a quick sell. Thanks in advance

if the bushings are trashed the belt can squeak and maybe cause bad contact and bad charging, but short is shenanigans.
