Have you gotten your parts yet? If not, did you send him paypal, or mail him a money order? If you have his Tucson Address where you sent payment, or whatever, I can drive by and see what's up. I am in Tucson, near Park Place mall.

Oddly the car looks very similar (in fact looks identical) to one that was for sale around the corner from my house a couple months back. It had a local and a long distance number on the For Sale sign, and the LD number may very well have been a NJ one. I saw them packing the car up with stuff from the house one day, and haven't seen it since, so I assumed it was sold. Now I wonder if the guy didn't just split and head back to NJ.

Anyway, I'm willing to check out any local numbers and addresses in Tucson for anyone that needs.

Oh, the License Plate info might come in handy IF the plate is linked to the actual seller, and not someone he purchased the car from. If it was reg'd in his name, that information could come in handy for those that he scammed, because they can call their local police dept., AND the sellers (scammers) local PD (both Tucson and NJ preferably) and report him, and they MAY very well be able to locate him. Even if the monetary loss isn't that much, they should at least investigate it, and once they find him he'll know he's in enough trouble that he might start making good on his sales so everyone will back off and NOT press charges. I would push it as far as possible, even if only a little money was involved. Don't let them get away with it, and make sure OTHERS know that you won't let this stuff slide.
