View Full Version : Need Your Fenders Rolled?
DarksideE36 02-05-2007, 01:55 AM Seeing as how I have been rolling a lot of fenders for friends and Fender Rolling Days over the years I have decided to offer my services to fellow Southern California BFc members.
My work can be seen on a numerous members cars here and ofcourse my own. I have become quite accustomed to the E36 chassis but just the other night I worked on a beautiful 9K mile Carbon Black E39 M5 to accommodate a set of 19 x 11 BBS LM's.
I will take care of your clearance needs for $60, that includes both rear panels.
The fronts are able to accommodate lower offsets so they rarely need to be rolled (for street applications). However I can also take care of those for an additional fee.
I have people asking me frequently about running lower offset wheels (Style 5's, etc.). I can slightly flare your fenders to run these wheels but it as at your own risk and with an additonal fee due to the time/effort involved.
I feel my pricing is fair and reasonable for the work involved (most places charge $50/per corner). Also, I could rent out the tool but I have seen friends ruin their fenders (chip paint, wrinkles, etc.). I would rather provide my own experience and present a desirable outcome.
Let me know if your interested and we can set something up. I can come to you within a reasonable distance (Orange County) or we can set things up here if your lacking work space.
Contact me if you are interested. Post up here, PM me or Email me at DarksideM3@Yahoo.com.

We need don't need a booth, that's so 2006. We'll just surround our cars with garden dividers.

Feel along the inside of the fender. If they are rolled it will be nearly flat against the car. If they are stock they should have a slight angle with a sort of filler/dirt build-up inside.
Oogie_M 02-05-2007, 12:01 PM I'm interested in this and I work in Orange County (Aliso Viejo). I'm assuming you want to garner a few more people instead of traveling around to do this?

Perhaps, but Sunday is usually no bueno, it's my only day off.
Most weekday nights are fine and Saturday during the day is cool.

Was it found on the side of the road with the emergency light on (it's usually like this)? or with a police car behind it.....since he never got his Passport!
blitzed310 02-06-2007, 04:31 PM I am willing to come to you, if you can assure me the paint will not crack or anything like that. Paint is 5 years old, 3-stage metallic.

I can't guarantee against cracks on the paint. If I did it would only pertain to OEM BMW Paint Jobs. I have never had a problem with any Factory BMW Paint, even with mild flaring.
On the other hand the only cracking I have ever seen from rolling fenders is on poorly done Maaco Paint Jobs.
Your more than welcome to come down and I can roll your fenders but as I said it all depends on who painted your car, how many coats, how many coats of clear and how much the fenders need to be rolled.

ultimachi 03-03-2007, 08:41 PM Hey would you be willing to flare out my fenders at bimmerfest? I have to run 10mm spacers up front due to the Tein coilovers and doing so prevents me from going any lower.
DTM Driven 04-02-2007, 03:40 AM need my fenders flared, they are rolled, but im still running with to much camber for comfort.

Hmm probably not at Bimmerfest as it would take some time and I wouldn't want to rush it. If your ever in So Cal, hanging out with your lady or whatever, hit me up and I'll take care of it.

Sure, PM me about when you would like to take care of it and we'll go from there.

Yeah, It would kinda take away from the fun of bimmerfest if you're sitting in an alley with a line up of E36's left there for you to roll their fenders while they go off and enjoy the show lol!
Well I still have your number so whenever I'm out there again (I usually don't drive the bimmer to Socal) with the bimmer I'll definitely give you a ring. :evil2
DarksideE36 04-12-2007, 02:48 PM Alright I finished voekaenoe's fenders last night on his pristine Cosmos M3. I'll be working on Jeff Cupino's car today, if anyone else is interested post up and I'll set something up with you.
