First of all the car is 635CSi. I sold the original stereo so now I'm searching new one. I was thinking for Pioneer but I can't find someone whos display and bottons are red or orange, then I decide Alpine but same story. Next in my mind came Nakamichi but my brother told me they are not as good as they were before so I'm not sure about them. So now I don't know what player to put. I like Pioneers bass thats why I want Pioneer but they are all green. Alpines are all blue...I don't know why here is like that, back in Europe Pioneers can change lot of color but not here. So please give me some ideas or if you're selling some nice stereo we can make some good deal. I can give around 200$ for CD. Thank you folks and I hope I'll find something good

I would go with the Pioneer. The DEH-p4900 would be right around $200. It can play all formats of CD, an iPod interface, SatRad ready, 3 line inputs for amps, plus sub control. The display is blue but with all those features you can't go wrong. Part of my responsibilties as a radio engineer is to repair gear. Last thing I want to do is have to repair my own stuff. After six Pioneer models I have never had to repair one. IMO nakimachi is a service nightmare. In the end run up to you.

There are older alpines which are green by default and you can switch the colors to amber. I think the one I have is the CDA-7894 and that model switches to amber, try looking for one on ebay or in the for sale forum. I also think you can switch between many colors on some of the newer alpines, just the default color is blue.
