Hey, newbie here.

I currently drive a 2006 sonic blue/nordkap(blue black interior) Volvo S60R 6 speed manual. I love it. Awesome seats and stereo, unique, but....the quirky suspension and FWD biased AWD system is not the greatest. I do enjoy driving this car.

My question is...has anyone here driven both cars in a stick? I'm curious to know what you think. Volvo is probably going to discontinue the R starting with MY 08. My car is leased and I'll probably give it up in 1 year or so. I love the turbo and am curious to see how BMW does with it. I'd probably give it a year or so to work any potential bugs out of that new engine.

We have a 99XC wagon we both really enjoy and were interested in a S60R but when it came time to get another vehicle we didn't even test drive the S60 due to the horrible service dept of the Oahu Volvo dealer.

I have a 2004 S60R Flash Green. When I first drove the 335i, I thought the Volvo felt like a little old lady's car in comparison. Dont drive one - your Volvo will be gone quickly.
