I really found a rare Mechanic...That is BOTH Honest and GREAT SERVICE!

I was recommended by Jeffblue on the boards (thx)...brought my car to his shop. Carl test drove it and immediately diagnose the problem.

Fixed the problem and try his best to save me money! (not pushing to buy this part or that part, etc etc) he even tried to fix my old unit...installed it, re-test then uninstall then called me up and said, "sorry, i tried to save you money, but the unit was bad (works 80% of the time), i recommend replacing it" so a new unit was replaced. all old parts were saved in a box and was given back to me for viewing before picking up the car!

he charged me 60/hr...

it's not the money.....it's the fact that he was an Honest mechanic...i got so many quotes from 500-1200 dollars to fix my vanos...

The worst one was.....a shop said that i have to replace my intake cams.

is it a BMW specialist shop?

not a bmw specialist...he works on all cars...japanese, US and german cars.
