I backed into a poll, going about 1 MPH. I wanted to show the inch and a half ding in the trunk. Otherwise, the paint is pretty good. There is a very small amount of surface rust on the drivers door below the molding. I am told that it is a very easy fix and pretty inexpensive since it meets the molding and doesn't have to be blended. I tried to take a picture of it, but it was so minimal, it wouldn't come out on the photos.

The interior is in very nice shape other than the little wear marks on the front seats that almost every 10 year old BMW has. I don't have any photos of those, but there are no tears or rips anywhere. It could use some new floormats, but that is no big deal.

This is the cheapest 1997 M3 I have ever seen...I paid $11,500 for it just a year ago. I just need to sell because I found the 2003 Cobra I have been looking for...

Oh, and I forgot to add... I have had a couple places quote me new trunk lids for around $200. However, the ding isn't very large, so the new owner might not even care. If so, it's a pretty inexpensive fix...

Yeah, 5spd's are hard to find... let me rephrase that... 5spds under $13K are hard to find. I searched for one when I bought this automatic.

An update... these are new parts to the car: (I spent about $2K)

- New trunk lid...perfect condition
- New driver's door...perfect condition (the original door had rust at the bottom due to a bad seal)
- New drive shaft...drives perfect
- All 4 tires are brand new...and it runs smoooooooth

With these upgrades, I would like to get $8700 for the car.

You are right... it should sell for more, but I am just trying to break even on it. It's a great car, I just need something bigger...possibly a truck. Don't get me wrong, if someone wants to give me, $9400, I'll take it!

Don't have any other photos right now, but I am receiving TONS of emails on it and have promised to take more this weekend. I guess it's priced RIGHT for quick sale. Interior is in pretty good shape...no rips or tears... could use some new floormats, but those aren't a big deal. No accidents that I'm aware of, but feel free to run the VIN number. No bodywork accept for new trunk lid and new drivers door. Brakes work great and the air is so cold it will frost your beer! It runs and drives great...just drove 300+ miles yesterday for a trip back and forth to/from Chicago.

Ha...not with the cops in my town...any tint on the front windows and you're as good as CAUGHT. They don't mess around...

A/C works AWESOME...you can frost your beer on that sucker, (but I wouldn't suggest it.) ;)

I will take some interior photos and more pics this weekend, but I currently have a buyer, (I think). He wants me to hold it for him until next weekend so he can fly in and we agreed upon $9000 with the extra set of wheels and tires.

No mods...although, the muffler doesn't look stock...
