Frankbullitt 02-04-2007, 10:46 PM How much does a 1-series weigh and how does it compare size-wise with say,a E46?? Would this car be Mazda3 sized? This car was always my imaginary dream car,a NEW small RWD 2+2 coupe just like the 2002,i used to have a Miata and i always thought i would love to have a similar car but with rear seats and i hope this car is it. I can't wait for this car to come out,it should be near when my E46 is paid for, great timing! Let's hope BMW NA doesn't price them out to $38k for a loaded example. I'm guessing that one fully loaded will cost approx. $35-$36k. NickSimcheck 02-05-2007, 10:37 PM I have a feeling I'll be trading in my M3 in a year or two... AddictofE30 02-05-2007, 10:38 PM I dislike the way BMW is going with the 3's but LOVE these. ntv 02-06-2007, 10:17 PM So long as the I Drive knob is left out, THIS will be the BMW to own. Can we get a crank sunroof? lust41 02-07-2007, 01:43 AM And the second set of pics of coupe (i think) http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=383 You can tell the shape and location of the side rear windows. I hope that two tone interior is available too! TUD 02-07-2007, 02:22 AM I hope that two tone interior is available too! +1 EducatedFool 02-07-2007, 07:09 AM I'm not really liking the coupe all that much. It looks like they just stuck a trunk on top of the hatch. The hatch version looks alot better (and that definitly does look like a blacked-out IC) 1996 328ti 02-08-2007, 01:17 AM Can we get a crank sunroof?Sunroof delete. More headroom for a helmet. :) MOTOR'N 02-08-2007, 09:04 AM Sunroof delete. More headroom for a helmet. :) Not to mention the +/-70 lbs removed from up there:) jezzabel 02-20-2007, 11:32 AM Not to mention the +/-70 lbs removed from up there:) Sunroof delete really saves 70 pounds?? adriver 02-22-2007, 11:26 PM Sunroof delete really saves 70 pounds?? yes. It has already been confirmed that is the 335i engine. so thats definately an IC. This thing weighed in europe was just over 3000 lbs. But then figure in the engine weight and youre looking 3100-3200 lbs. IMO roughly 300 lbs lighter than 335i. I want a 3 dr hatch so that my first mod can be to rip out the back seats. |
