I got my tint done about a month ago...and I was wondering if any washing procedures can mess it up?

Is tinting done on the inside or outside?

As for washing the windows....i would be using windex and a paper towel to wipe it down on the inside...as for the outside ide probably use a microfiber cloth and some mr. clean car soap (I use the autodry)

would this be okay to the tint? is there anything I should know to preserve the tint?

Tinting is inside and a little soap and water...or just water.

NO WINDEX if it has ammonia. I wouldn't use that inside, ever.

When it comes to plastic window film, make sure to stay away from glass cleaning products that contain ammonia. Since the film is plastic, I like to use Plexus Plastic Cleaner, Protectant & Polish (http://www.autogeek.net/plexplasclea.html) on window film and also on other interior plastic components.

You can use your favorite glass cleaner on the exterior glass with no worries since the film is applied to the interior window glass.

Armor all makes a glass cleaner that has NO ammonia. I use it all the time and have had no problems with my tint.

onmy2nde30 - You use armor all because it is OTC? Try Stoner's Invisible Glass. Also OTC and will blow your AA away!!
