Looking for a turbo project over the summer...Weren't you planning on doing something like that to the motor? vjlax18 02-10-2007, 11:15 AM I was going to turbo it, but I'm getting out of building anything and everything for now. BimmerBoyZ3 02-11-2007, 03:39 PM Any chance you'd part it up...I just need an m42 head. vjlax18 02-11-2007, 08:25 PM Not in the plans just yet. I might end up selling it with the car if it doesn't sell as a whole. I'm have a lot of tire kickers right now but you know how that goes... I'm have a lot of tire kickers right now but you know how that goes... Well if you decide to get rid of just the head..let me know..I'd be willing to swap it out for an M44 head. etasport87 02-12-2007, 04:09 PM You know where I'm at on the chassis and such. I'll take everything if you decide to put the engine back in the car too. vjlax18 02-12-2007, 04:10 PM I think we're all confused here. There is an engine in the car and the one forsale in this thread is a spare. :) etasport87 02-13-2007, 10:01 AM Ok, so I understand now. You were talking about wiring the m42 in the car back up, not putting an engine back in. So the car is for sale then? [/crapping on thread], but bump tooserious4u79 03-02-2007, 10:10 PM Is this engine still for sale? Also will it fit a 1993 318i e30obsessed 03-27-2007, 06:45 AM Ditto last question...still FS? vjlax18 03-27-2007, 08:36 AM Ok, so I understand now. You were talking about wiring the m42 in the car back up, not putting an engine back in. So the car is for sale then? [/crapping on thread], but bump Sorta... I have 2 M42's right now. One in the car and one on a stand next to the car. I need to sell the motor on the stand outright. The car itself is driveable, however, I need to re-wire the stock harness back up so that it can run on the stock DME. Yes, the motor on the stand is still forsale. I'll fit in an E36, but I'm not sure if the E36 has knock sensors, because the E30's did not. etasport87 03-27-2007, 08:40 PM I will probably still buy that car if you feel like selling.. let me know if you want to get together or talk details. vjlax18 03-28-2007, 07:28 AM I will probably still buy that car if you feel like selling.. let me know if you want to get together or talk details. We've talked back and forth. Shoot me an email john_doby @ yahoo.com subject in E30 318is. Let's talk some more about it. |
