So im a nOOb to detailing the outside of my car, and i just bought all my stuff from autogeek after reading everyones threads on polishing. So heres my question can i wax the car after ive done my finishing glaze? i searched and found zip. This may sound stupid to some but i just dont want to mess my car up! BTW i have PC 7424, Pinnacle XMT Intermediate Swirl Remover and Poorboy's Natty's Paste Wax-Blue. Any words of advice would be great.

maynasty: I detail BMW's exclusively and my process is: compound, then glaze, then wax.
You can apply the glaze following your swirl removal process (XMT or whichever you use), then apply your wax. If you use your 7424, try the XMT Finish Glaze with carnuba. Very nice product!
Check out some of my BMW details on AutoGeekOnline. I usually do 2 cars per week for a pre-owned BMW dealer here in Kansas City.

Excellent advice Totoland. The XMT Finishing Glaze w/ Carnauba followed up with Natty's Paste Wax - Blue is a great combination.

Not a problem maynasty. I just posted the latest bunch of cars I'm starting on: Z4 (easy, low mileage pre-sold unit), white 545 that I washed with Optimum No-Rinse, Black 745Li that is gonna be 1-tuff-s.o.b., a black X5 that I didn't get a chance to inspect but didn't look too bad.
I started a thread on AutoGeek for these cars and also posted them on Photobucket.com under Totoland.
See Ya...it's pretty cold in Kansas City...single digits. I'm luck to have an indoor detail shop with great lighting and equipment.
