I don't know for sure, but that's the most legit butcher shop I know of. Otherwise just buy the 4 pack of Filet Mignon from Costco K2sfc 02-01-2007, 09:09 PM its illegal to import real Kobe beef from Kobe japan but The usa has its own version. Near I-8 and Fairmont. Bingo. NobleForums 02-01-2007, 10:00 PM You can always order Wagyu online too. XOC 02-01-2007, 11:17 PM I didn't know about it being illegal to import Japanese Kobe beef, but I did know that most of the "Kobe beef" in this country is "Kobe style beef" or w/e -- from the same kind of cow, but produced here. Thanks for the lead on the Iowa Meat Farm place. In general I would have no problem doing the online thing but in this case I would like to see the meat irl first. I want to see the grain/marbling etc. Vielen dank. XOC 02-01-2007, 11:20 PM Oh and btw, I have noticed that the tenderloin from Costco is actually less tasty than the stuff at Von's etc. I have no clue why that would be, but I've found it to be true time and time again. rekcirtSC 02-02-2007, 12:29 AM If you are going to grill Kobe beef you are retarded. rekcirtSC 02-02-2007, 12:29 AM That is just as stupid as Kobe beef burgers. kpipalldaway2 02-02-2007, 01:02 AM man kobe went off last night, did anyone watch that game? slcook54 02-02-2007, 02:02 AM 4 pack of Filet Mignon from Costco Neil knows his stuff :D.
