I usually don't mind hatches, but the 1 series looks much better as 2 dr with a trunk. That wide 'U' "flame surface" under the doors just looks disgusting on all 1s. Profile shot looks good - it falls apart at the 3/4 shots, which is odd, because that's usually the angle that makes a car look best.

I personally only want the 3 door hatch. If I have to settle for any other configuration ill be disappointed, but I will still get a 135i .. something.

i dont like all the curves on it, but a compact with a stock 6 cyl will be nice. save the trouble of swapping like we have to do with the ti. why couldnt they just send us the e46 compact?

Whoa those headlights are massive! At first the front end looked odd but when I looked closer, the headlights actually look pretty good on there, but there's no getting around how big they are.

That is not the 2-door. That is the 3-door hatch. We probably won't see it. We should be getting a true 2-door coupe and convertible.

Those cars really do look like they'd be fun to drive. BMW has said in the past that they weren't bringing another "compact" over, so I doubt they'll bring the 3-door version, but I really like it. I'd like to see pics of a One series coupe...it'll probably resemble a Z4...

The 3 door looks good

The five door hatch is hard to look at.

hatch looks wayyy better than the coupe... not to mention the practicality factor. I would probably buy a 130/135 hatch... coupe- probably not. it looks very, very weird to me. Why can't Americans see the advantages to a hatch?!:rock:
