hey all, i NEED a 635csi, L6, or any other 6er's front spoiler. i found it on realoem Dot com but i'm not paying $600 some odd $'s for it. i almost had one at a junk yard for $200 but someone beat me to it. please help out another 6er... save it from the "wierd front end" syndrome. thanks guys!

REALOEM prices aren't necessarily the real prices

realoem dot com is a site that shows the part-numbers and diagrams. The prices on that site are, in my opinion, what to expect to pay from the dealer, or educated guess. Front air dams can be found in pretty good shape for half that. If you want a new one though, bavauto sells a really nice one from racing dynamics. It is also made of fiberglass instead of poly-something-or-other. That means if you booger it up, you can repair it with a fiber glass kit. I did it numerous times on my E23.

I just sold a nice used one for $250, so they are available. Check ebay as well.
A new one for my 88 was $425. They are hard to find and year specific.

well, i have an 84 633csi and i can't find crap. i've seen the racing dynamics front spoiler, but once again don't want to pay $500+ for just a front spoiler. i'm just getting discouraged now :(

Patience. In the short 4 weeks I've had my 635 I've had multiple opportunities to buy used front spoilers. Roam the forums, all of them. Put out a post like this one and just ask if anyone has one. Lot's of people parting cars these days or just holding on to them.
