Snow sucks... I'm so ready for spring.

I haven't driven my BMW since December :(

A lot of the roads here in Boulder suck my balls. Back east, where I'm from, they use these future snow removal vehicles with plows on them. :eek: They move all the snow off the road so there isn't a riveted groove going down the center with mega potholes on either side.

My car loves the snow, but not when the roads suck ass :shifty

We just got an inch or 2 in KC. Huge pile up on I-35 from what I've heard...

i took the bmw out the other day cause the snow was gone and it was still sliding it must've known that snow was coming. back to the Dodge Raider i guess ^^

meh, no accumulation on the road... bloody cold though...

I think I might be buying some snows with this paycheck... My car is sitting in front of my gym and my boss drove us back. Didn't even wanna deal with it. I'm hoping the main roads will be clear by the time 6 or 7 rolls around and I get outta here!

My lil FWD Honda takes me wherever I need to go and that's with all seasons. I do have to admit that I sometimes wish I had a Subaru or the like.

I still miss my E28 though... dang that car was great when it was working right.

You must have one magical FWD Honda or live in a neighborhood with good street maint. because no one was getting around in 2WD (without getting stuck) for about a week there...:D

So far, there's only been one day where I couldn't drive my car, and that was only because it was too low to get over the snow. I really don't think it's necessary to have AWD just to get around. Now, for going skiing, etc... That's another story.

Of course, I'm buying a beater, so I guess I can't talk. :)

Seth, if you're talking about that week after the first storm in December... they hardly plowed the neighborhood streets around here. I got high centered several times. I think ground clearance was more important than AWD that time. X3 would have been nicceeeee. :)

They're saying 2-5" by the end of the day, concentration during rush hour. I'm so looking forward to driving home tonight. :(

My car turned out fine. I got it back from Nick G back in October, I've put less then 400 miles on it since I got it back. I've been working 7 days a week for the last 7 months so I don't have much free time to drive it and when I do the weather denies me:mad

You haven't seen the pics yet because I haven't posted any. I'll do a writeup with pics when the weather gets better. The car put down 370whp and 365lbs when Nick dynoed it. It runs great, power is smooth, no stumbles, no CELS. Nick and his crew did a great job on it, I couldn't be happier.

I've gotten to drive my 02 a total of twice since then - just cuz I SOOOO wanted to drive it again. (That was the 2 days it hit above 40s like a week or so ago and the main roads were dry, though getting it out my alleyway with the 6-9" of permafrost ice that's likely to stay until May was interesting...)

So I gotta drive the Zu, instead of my 02... I'm going nuts.

It's got the 3.2l V6 w/Calmini cam & 4-speed electronic Auto trans. Mods include Calmini 3" suspension lift kit, 4" body lift, Rancho 9000X shocks w/dash mounted compressor switches, Superwinch hubs, 2.5" SS catback exhaust, 4.77 diffs, 33" rubber. Kinda fun - but not as fun as my 02!

Yeah, the sick widebody is Pedro not me. I got 235s on there right now but I'll get some 255s soon.
