Thought I'd give you guys a little mid-day laugh.
Driving back up to school, I pass this guy going closer to the speed limit than I was on a long, crappy 2-lane stretch of road.
I look at it, and it's one of the cleanest 300's I've seen in a while. I look, and see its got a little SRT-8 badge. Like my car, it was black, with blacked out windows and tails. So, I'm bored and have been driving for 2-hours and pull beside him and match his speed.
We come to a redlight. Both of us are just sitting there cool, not doing any jackass reving shit. So, the light turns green, and we both hammer it.
Good god, the power in that car is sick. I guess in this situation, the weight probably helps to get traction. In second gear, he has a car length. Then, by about 85mph he's got about 4ish car lengths. After that, I slowed down, and so did he, any faster than that trying to race just didn't seem like a good idea. I probably could have done a little better if I had launched the car, but I wasn't sure if he wanted to race, and I didn't want to act like a jackass so I just took off from a standstill. I pulled up to him, rolled down the window, and gave him the thumbs up. He gave it back, and then we hit traffic.
:help I definitely brought a plastic-knife (is there any type of crappier knife/cutting device I could insert here) to a gun fight. It was pretty fun though, and those can definitely move pretty well.
