I have a 4.10 LSD on my E34, and I just don't want to rev this quickly. If I buy a 3.23 or something from an E36, will it fit my 525?

That blows.

Any idea where to look for a used 5 series LSD? I mean one that I won't have to wear earplugs with?

I've give The EuroDepot a call - Ask for Joel - I've had a great experience dealing with them.

I was thinking more like which forums to check for used diffs. I don't think I can afford the Euordepot...but I'll check.

I hear you - with the prices I've seen in the classified lately for some diffs. you’re better off just calling a local salvage yard / or place the speciazles in dismantling BMW's. I'm sure you've already looked but eBay has some good deals at times. I scored one for $10.00!! for a buddy of mine last week. Don't know that ratio but it doesn't matter as we'll be dismentaling it anyways. If I see anything I'll let you know. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Ear plugs? For what?

Earplugs for turning 5k 15mi to class and back. I'm just being a bitch about it...it's unecessary.

Anyway, I have a 4.10 LSD for an E34 that I'm willing to sell or trade for any LSD of equal applicability but lower ratio. Maybe 3.07-3.46. Whatever fits, and won't be too far above or below the stock 3.23.

I'll put this in the classifieds where it belongs.

Oh, and I checked Euro Depot, their prices don't suck, really.
