View Full Version : Interest in purchasing a 335xi Sports Wagon in the US?
mercury26 01-30-2007, 07:05 PM So I am interested to know who would want to purchase a 335xi Sports Wagon, if they were to bring it to the US. My overall goal is to lobby BMW to bring this beauty to the US, even if it just a customer order option. People have had similar luck with VW and Audi, so I figured why not see if BMW could be pushed in this direction.
Cheers,
Chuck
[Note: I posted this on the e90 forum, but wanted to cast a wider net for responses]
CSBM5 02-01-2007, 10:14 AM You need another option: 335iT. If they import the RWD 335iT, and it is available with the 6spd manual, my wife will order one today to swap out her E90. It must be available with the M-sport package, suspension, wheels, etc. -- similar to the UK market car.
lilflipM42 02-01-2007, 10:17 AM id buy it for sure but not a wagon...Id get the twin turbo awd 4 door...if possible

The E90 335xi (Sedan) is already planned to start production in March 2007 for US deliveries.
This thread is designed to gauge interest in the E91 335xi (Wagon).
gmessori 02-03-2007, 06:17 AM I would have got the wagon in a second if it was a 335. I almpost bought the 328 wagon, but the power won me over.

I'm very interested in the 335xi sedan (or preferably coupe), but have heard conflicting info on precisely when either would be available in the states. Any credible info would be welcome - thanks.
Schnell325 02-03-2007, 12:56 PM Either body style (touring or sedan) would be my choice for an 335xi model....but it must have the X-Drive attached to the 335i engine, no question about it. I know the benefits of a powerful engine attached to an AWD system owning to the fact I have a 360 bhp Subaru STi...now I just want that power in a European car.....I am sick of "tinny" sounding doors on my STi.
Raivyn 02-05-2007, 12:45 PM I'd totally buy the wagon - great job on getting word out on the interest to it!!
You may save me the trouble of having to import it on my own when my 335i coupe lease is up. ;)
Bearcat 02-05-2007, 06:46 PM The wagon would be nice...but what is the real advantage over an X3??
inkatouring 02-05-2007, 07:39 PM I would buy a 335it, but not the 335xit.
There's not any word on whether BMW NA plans to import either of those, is there?
adriver 02-09-2007, 07:53 AM I would. Its actually exactly what I want. The 335i awd with a little more room. Pure sleeper, but now I may have to end up going with an s4 avant. Its too bad those are the only 2 decent cars you can get in a manual. This will be a hard decision now, if any to just go with the sedan over the audi.
PhilG 02-09-2007, 10:59 AM I want a 335xi coupe - c'mon BMWAG, stop teasing us and produce it for the states!!

whats the point of this post? They are going to, just be patient. Its already planned to be out this year. However they currently are not looking at making a 335xi sports wagon, as to what this thread is about.
