View Full Version : AA HFM install instructions anyone?
DakarDave 01-30-2007, 06:40 PM Anyone have a copy of the AA install CD for Stage II kits lying around?
Trying to get more educated about the kit, and the components.
Trying to get a copy from AA/ICS but wanted to check here in the mean time...
Come on.. someone has this CD lying around.. I just need someone to send me the doc file.

Drew - This is an excellent resource. This should be a sticky!
DakarDave 01-31-2007, 06:46 PM Boy am I glad this resource is out there!
AA wants to change me $25.00 for a install CD not even made for my car. They sold me a MZ3 Turbo kit, but they don't even have an install CD made for the MZ3 platform.
Man, I realize that I went with NickG tuning.. but this is still a AA hardware kit, god darn it!
Jim M3 01-31-2007, 06:50 PM I don't suppose it could have anything to do with the way you badmouth AA on this board :rolleyes

Aint that the truth...

I never bad mouthed them on the boards. They had the audacity to charge me $25 for a track pipe gasket that they never included in the box! Even though I had dropped over $2700 just a few weeks before. :shifty Oh well, live and learn.

should not matter should it? I'm a customer, and there should be no bias. I'm just asking for support of a kit I purchased from them.. (actually only for install instructions - no actual technical help)
Jim M3 01-31-2007, 06:57 PM Funny they sent me one for free and also sent me a tracking number in about 30 minutes. I am sure they would have sent it for free if you talked with Mike.

Dave V, I did not know that happened...You should have let me know and you would have gotten it for FREE from me...You did buy your parts from me...:)
I cannot help you, if I do not know....
In DakarDaves case, didn't ICS install the Turbo kit? Maybe ICS has the instruction CD? The kit was bought thru ICS correct? I am sure he made a "markup" on it, uunless he sold it for "straight cost" as he usually does for his customers...or as he says he does...;)
Perhaps ICS should be getting you the CD, if it was missing from the kit, or if they happen to have yours...seems about right to me..

I understand. I just didn't wanna bug you. Its all good...the reality is that $25 isn't a big deal, I just found it to be a bit surprising. :)

Oh jeez...here we go! :eatpop: :rofl
marc1119 01-31-2007, 07:10 PM Why bitch about a Manufacturer, when the Manufacturer (AA) lets the vendor (ICS) make a profit, to sell a kit..This is to PAY the Vendor for having to deal with a customer, so the MANUFACTURER does not have to......
The incentive is the... profit in the markup....
Why should the customer have to go the MFR to get what the Vendor should be handling? That is my point..thats all.
No flame war here..
jmargo 01-31-2007, 07:17 PM OK, so Dave has his instructions ? If not PM me.
Then this thread is done.
