Dear hyper 5- what's going on with your lowbeams? Got more pics of your headlamps? I have similar- 2001-03 fiber optics inside the 97-00 lights- but I'm curious how you got your low beams to look that clean without the glass circle glare guards.

I would love to run a thread like that for my color but i think there is only 1 or 2 others that have it...actually only seen one on this board that i know of. But those are some clean silver e39's

I was having some starting issues, but have been in the clear for a while now. New battery too, which has been nice. I've owned this car for nearly six years now and may start looking for a replacement soon...M Coupe :)

Alright, it is completely stock. But in my opinion these stock rims are the nicest stock rims EVER. Other then the M seriers of course... Bad pics, but they were quickies.

Threw a rod it appears. Could have been a moneyshift or possibly oil starvation (seized main bearing/piston at high rpm = busted rod carnage). Looks real nasty at any rate.

Here's my 2002 540iT. Just got the car about 3 weeks ago and am in the process of figuring it out. It has 67k and is CPO until 9/08. I bought it in AZ it has been a western car all its life and is in really nice shape.
Options include: Sports pkg, cold weather pkg, sport seats and nav. It has a black interior.
I just bought the Umanitza M5 front bumper pkg and plan to have it painted and installed this month.

Who has a silver on gray and wished they had a silver on black?

Reason I ask is 'cos my favorite combo is silver/black, but there's a very nice '98 528i Sport in silver/gray, very clean, well maintained, and at the right price. Been wondering if I should let it go until a silver/black comes my way, or if I should take the plunge on this one. The silver/gray is still very classy, what with the black dash and the technical surface trim, but I don't know if I'll come to love it 100% like I already do with the all black.

Silver/Grey is a great combo. I feel that all the details like seat stitching and contours of the console and dash are lost on all black cars. Also I see you're in FL so the silver/grey should stay cooler in the sun as opposed to silver/black.

Here's mine...a 2001 530 sport. I bought her in October of '06 off of ebay with 78k (CPO), currently 104k. "Mods" include: new tie-rod ends and thrust arms, new fuel pump, front aero spoiler, tinted windows, m5 rear lip, carbon fiber roundels, Dice ipod integration, debadged. On the short list is tranny fluid swap, Bilstein HD's, new front wheel bearings, and new front/rear sway bars. This is an early picture right after I drove her home from Knoxville.
