Hi i'm fairly new here. My name is julian and i live in dade. I currently drive my dads 2003 325ci but he's going to get rid of it because he just got a new car. I've read alot around here and other forums and i think the e30 is the car for me. The problem here is we don't have room for a 4th car so this will have to be my daily driver. As it is a 17 year old car my dad says that he wants to help me buy a newer car that is less likely to have problems, but i don't want that. I love the e30 and i want the car to be mine, not my dads car that i'm allowed to drive. His problem with this is that such an old car will give me too many problems and i will have no where and no one to help me fix these problems. Thus it would create a massive mechanic bill and its not worth it if i have to get overcharged by a mechanic every time something little goes wrong. Also i want to learn about my car, not just send it into a shop to be fixed.
What i am asking is if there are any BMW nuts that know the ins and outs of bmws (specifically an e30) who would be willing to teach me and help out with maintainence. I was planning on working at a garage this summer but i don't want to rely on the guys i will be working with because they are there to make a living not to help me with my car for free. If ur a bmw lover and just wanna talk email me jugemc@gmail.com or AIM message me jugeride
