So im getting my cars lower sides painted. If i bondo the two caps on the pannel and sand them smooth I'll have the 99+ rockers? Why are the two caps there for anyways, whats inside of them??? Thanks for any help!:help :stickoutt

They are for the stock jack. The 99-01s have a plastic cover that goes over the rocker panel.

To get the 99 and later look, install 99 and later side skirts. They are separate plastic skirts that attach to the sides. They give the car a slightly wider look. You will also want to get new trim. The little rubber trim that runs under the doors is a different profile to meet with the wider skirts.
