View Full Version : Dallas - BMW dinner idea
Austin 01-13-2003, 07:09 PM Still in the works but coming together as we speak.
This dinner is open to anyone with a BMW. So if your apart of the Dallas Crew or Lone Star Chapter your welcome also. This will mainly be a BMW Club of Dallas dinner.
We shall be having dinner at the Cheese Cake Factory off northwest Highway close to Central Expressway. Meeting time so far is set for Feb 22nd at 5:00pm.
Let me know if you plan on showing and how many so I can reserve a spot for us. This place has every type of food you would want the menu is about 25pages so if your picky I'm sure they will have something for you.

So far it seems most are interested in having a club dinner at the Cheese Cake Factory. The date would be Feb 22nd. I tossed a time of 5pm out for now. I would like to be alil ahead of the dinner crowd since this will take place on a Saturday night.
THe cheesecake factory-- meaning the one close to Northwest/Central and Northpark Mall?
I'd be down.

Yep that'd be the one. I changed my first post. Parking might be alil tight reason I would like to get ahead of the dinner crowd. If I can get more than 10 people it will be offical. We're up to about 4 now.
Bring your family also.
FiKtIOn 01-13-2003, 07:36 PM I would as well.
FiKtIOn 01-13-2003, 07:38 PM Too lazy to edit:
Do I have to? I thought that was the whole point of getting a car, to get away from your family? :-P
The time is fine for me..Who will be picking up the bill? ;)

It is just his opinion and he is entitled to one. I think it sounds boring too. If I want to take a girl to a nice place, I would prefer to do it alone.

I am not trying to be negative. This event does not interest me....Sorry.
Last I checked, attendance was not mandatory. We had this discussion over PM. I will not get into a pissing contest as you, Brian, and Chris are in.

umnitza 01-14-2003, 01:55 PM Enough, I don't want to have to deal with this too.
Austin - don't antagonize.
Chris - don't know you, but please don't antagonize.
Please, behave.
Edit your own posts, we are in a friendly enviroment. Pissing matches get started but go piss on a tree not each other k?
IIIMSpeed 01-14-2003, 04:06 PM i might make my way out there. but only thing is i dont wanna drive my E36 (draws too much attention on the street and might be back in the shop again for a crazy chang) and i definately dont want to un-veil my new project car at a dinner.

I know I would. I'd smother myself in brown mustard & relish. I'd be so delicious. We could make hot dogs our form of currency. 12 hot dogs would equal roughly a nickel.

ANYWAY, I am moving to Mt Vernon in Feb, so I have no idea what I'll be doing on the 22nd. If I can make it, then I will go!
Ok guys, who wants to pay for my meal? Only one lucky guy gets to pay for me.

The Real question is, Would you Cook yourself?
Austin 01-23-2003, 08:07 PM I've made reservations at Cheesecake Factory before. Now they no longer take reservations at the time I am asking for. This is news to me, must be the reason why its so long of a wait. I'm not sure why they are not doing reservations any longer even for larger parties. :dunno
Back-up plan.....I've already talked to Spaghetti Warehouse in the West End and they will gladly take us at the same time. Feb 22nd at 5pm giving us a big table.
Would everyone still be interested in going there or just show up at Cheesecake Factory with a large party and wait for a table ??
Spaghetti Warehouse - West End
1815 N. Market
Dallas, TX 75202

Spaghetti Warehouse= No Ultimate CHeesecake.
I'd still be up for it, i think the West End is a better location anyhow. We could probably get a pretty kickass location for a photoshoot downtown too...
rflores2323 01-23-2003, 09:52 PM yeah why dont you try to get some spots out there for our cars to park.. tht would be really cool.. I am down for west end
