Well, I used my heated seats regularly through yesterday. Today it snowed and it was freezing out so I hit the heated seat button and I get no light on either the driver or passenger heated seat button and of course the seats dont heat up....maybe it's the fuse? I havent had a chance to check since it's snowing out but I am looking at the online PDF of fuses and it only says "Seat Heat" is fuse 39.....is that for the heated seats I presume? Anything else that would cause the lights to not come on?

First check the fuse, if it would be a broken seat heater element, only one light would be off probably.
And if it is not the fuse, check the seat heater relay.

Thanks. I am thinking it is most likely and hopefully the fuse too. According to the diagram it is fuse 39. I will check it tomorrow once the snow is gone....at least saturday it's going to be 55 degrees.:alright

Let us know what you find. I might have the same problem, and I'll be pissed if I get in on a cold day with butt heaters!!

Ok, I have been having the same problem. I have blown three fuses with in the last two months and I replaced two them last night. Could the relay be shot? Which relay controls the heated seated and/or rear window shade.

Typical failure mode for relay is:
1. it never turns on
2. it never turns off
It's possibly that the coil side of the relay is shorted out but I just don't see that type of failure too often. Which seat heater are you using when the fuses blow? Is it always just the driver's side? Try turning on the passenger side heater and leave the driver side heater off to see if the fuse still blows. If the fuse blowing stays with one seat my guess is the wiring in the seat has failed. The fuses are all clearly labeled as to function and rating, just keep in mind there are fuses under the hood AND in the trunk above the battery.
My guess is there will be two relays, one for each seat. If you can find the relays try swapping them to see if the problem moves to the other seat. If the problem moves, it's the relay. If it doesn't you have a bad heater element or wiring that's shorting out, probably to the frame.
On my car the front seat heaters go through fuse 39 (25 amp).

ahhh, I have not even had a chance to look at this any further. My car has been covered for the last 2 weeks...I guess I should go start it tomorrow to make sure it's ok...All this ice and snow :mad
