this seems like a great deal. Any leak-down or compression checks done?

No need.

The motor runs great and just set an (unoffical) BMW CR lap record at Miller Motorsports Park about two weeks before putting the car to bed for the winter.

Priced to sell, that's all.

how much track time in that year and what street hardware has been stripped from harness? How much to ship to FL?
sounds like a good deal.

thanks, Andy

Do you have a dme?

The engine has 66K street miles. After the car was converted to a race car it has run in about six race weekends plus some testing in one season. No endurance type racing at all.

The ECU/custom Conforti chip is included if you buy the harness package in addition to the engine.

The engine harness has had items stripped out of it that are not relevant to a race car such as a/c connections, factory OP/WT, power cords, jumper plugs, etc. It cannot be reverse engineered to work on a street car. If you are putting this engine in a street car you should use your own harness or buy a suitable used stock engine harness.

Although I am not checking for every location, in general it costs about $200-250 to ship a palletized engine from Salt Lake to the east coast. West coast a little less. Insurance might be a bit extra.

Bump.

And by the way...the reason the engine is for sale is that I am putting in a Euro 3.2 in my race car.

This is the only time I can ever think of when I WISHED my engine was blown.

Just miss a shift next time out....:shifty

Poor excuse for a bump I know, but what can I do?

Oh and by the way, race fans, only the engine is available. The race harness and associated equipment as listed has sold.
