CafeRacer 01-12-2003, 08:01 AM Originally posted by MrBlonde Peeps, Who is up for a welcome home meet for Allenby? I hear his haus frau has first dibs, but after that ... Aye mon, im in (the cruise that is!). I will try not to forget my CB this time :) PS you should read the private message i just recieved on DTM power... seems someone has the intellect of a guttermouthed 10yr old! :laugh And no, your first 2 guesses are incorrect :) i know what theyll be ;) babbo 01-12-2003, 09:38 AM I'm up for catching up with the nun-chux man :) Its been a long time. Not me Adam ;) You know I don't send that sorta crap ;) Thats for sure. nicot 01-12-2003, 09:46 AM I'm up for a welcome home cruise...and hopefully my car will be in full swing. blown3 01-12-2003, 04:53 PM Hey guys A welcome-home cruise would be awesome! But I won't be back till the 7th of February so Nico has a bit of time to get his car ready. If not - we'll wait for him to get his car finished... cuz we can't have a cruise without the Imola Red M3 Convertible :nono Kenny-G: Have you seen my car at the workshop? ultim8DTM5 01-12-2003, 06:00 PM I'll be there! If Nico's car isn't ready by #1 Deadline, there is now Deadline v2.0! :) Schmick320 01-12-2003, 06:45 PM Ill be there for sure - got to see nico's car and also see what Allen has done to the 318is Turbo   MrBlonde 01-12-2003, 09:22 PM Allenby: Yeah, in a few stages of dismemberment! I haven't been since before Christmas because Herbert is in Germany and the workshop is closed. The Viking is actually haveing a holiday for once. From memory the old turbo and dump pipe is off, the new turbo is mocked in place and the new dump pipe has been fabricated with ceramic coating. Ask The Viking for more info ... ultim8DTM5 01-12-2003, 10:14 PM Kentucky: off-topic, did you get my email reply? my mail servers are highly tempermental at the moment, just following through. blown3 01-13-2003, 12:04 AM Originally posted by MrBlonde Allenby: Yeah, in a few stages of dismemberment! Thanks for the update. From what the Viking told me I thought everything was ready save for the pending exhaust system (scheduled for mid-january) and the dyno tuning. I hope it's ready as agreed by the time I get back. Will give the Viking a call sometime to check. How's the new diff and the other modifications/additions? DROOOZ©®™ 01-13-2003, 07:54 AM Im up for a cruize! -DROOOZ MrBlonde 01-13-2003, 08:05 PM Originally posted by ultim8DTM5 Kentucky: off-topic, did you get my email reply? my mail servers are highly tempermental at the moment, just following through. Will give the Viking a call sometime to check. How's the new diff and the other modifications/additions? Allenby: Well The Viking knows better than I do, since he's building it! I was just working from memory. The diff is going well. I still haven't really sorted out a new launch strategy; just haven't found a place and time to work on it. Your girl says to say hello. I think that's what she meant ... most of the guys thought that was what she was saying. GeeTeeVeeSei 01-14-2003, 09:15 PM Damn Kenny! No Holds Barred on anything when youre around!! Yes its strange that the Barbaric Hun from gladesville is taking a holiday, but he insists on leaving his angry little yellow thing asleep. He could have much more fun if he took her out more often. Oh- and BTW- someone saw fit to take the front end of my car out on Sunday- so I cant come for a cruise for Al unless Erik keeps a spot for me ;) Also means it will be a little longer before I blow the M Coupe away in my 1200hp Alfa.... EZ 2002 01-14-2003, 10:18 PM Blown3: flat top truck picked the car up today to go to the exhaust shop, will be back hopefully by the end of the week, if not then early next week, then I have to sort the oil and water lines, fittings etc, plus a few more things I'll keep you posted. By the way the new larger front compressor looks pretty tough in the engine bay, you'll freak when you see it! Mr Blonde: always with the low blows, I suggest you go back to your trailer park located on 8 mile road!!!! GeeTeeVeiSei: If you drove my car on some of the less then quality roads of Sydney in the summer heat you'd know why I don't drive it much, plus the prospect of defect notices hanging off my car isn't too appealing. It has seen a bit of action though, went to the Blue Mountains in it and even drove down Norton street on sunday night!! All jokes aside well have to organise something good with a planned destination when Blown3 is back and hopefully Nico will have his car going too. blown3 01-15-2003, 02:17 AM Viking: I'll give you a call sometime so you can explain it to me better. When's Herbert coming back? KennyG: :help Friendly fire... Jules: How's the car going? nicot 01-15-2003, 02:45 AM Hey allen, can you please read your PM its bout group buy on eyelids. thanx Hank 01-15-2003, 03:05 AM If you're not carefull around here especially at night you could hit a deer. In Australia, if you get too close, and your window is open, do they punch you in the side of the head or anything? Hank :biglaughb Ask Steve Irwin if they do.:chix nicot 01-15-2003, 04:09 AM Hank- Dont go there mate... I had a tough time in the US trying to teach kids there life in Australia isnt much different to the US. Oh yeah another typical question I got from US guys is which way the water in the toilet goes down ..heeh GeeTeeVeeSei 01-15-2003, 07:56 PM Hi Al! Goes very nicely indeed, and I am very happy! Needs some decent tyres, and a few little suspension tweeks, and then I will be happy- I just wanna get her around a track like wakefield or Oran Sth. for starters, as well as down the quarter, just to get an idea of performance. Dyno sesh. soon too for a RWHP figure. You need to give me a Before Garret and After Garret rundown when you return! blown3 01-15-2003, 10:28 PM Jules: No worries man. You'll have to take me for a ride in your car too. No hand-brake usage please! :az: GeeTeeVeeSei 01-15-2003, 10:37 PM Cmon man- what old car's handbrake actually locks the rear wheels up anyway!!!?? Besides- as all you beemerfiles know, the beauty of rear wheel drive is all in steering with the throttle! blown3 01-16-2003, 03:24 AM Originally posted by GeeTeeVeeSei Cmon man- what old car's handbrake actually locks the rear wheels up anyway!!!?? One thing to bear in mind though is that most Kangaroos are southpaws, and therefore on a RHD vehicle you have the advantage. Hope this helps. ultim8DTM5 01-21-2003, 05:05 AM Originally posted by MrBlonde Hank: A Kangaroo *will* punch through an open window if provoked.
