I'll post pictures later today but I keep forgetting to post the ad. This thread will remind me :)
This set-up has under 2K miles on it, maybe under 1K. It was $1230 new. I'm asking for $700 shipped.
This set-up was put in when my car went together. It held fine while breaking in the motor and on low boost (1.2 bar). When we put the car on the dyno and turned up the boost it started to slip at 1.5 and 1.7 bar somewhere in the area of 600+ HP at the wheels.
I continued to drive on it at 1.2 bar without it slipping for another 500 miles until I put in my new clutch, It has a smooth engagement, and doesn't chatter.

Hey I am interested. Does it have a heavy clutch pedal? I have driven a spec stage 3 before, would you know how it compares? Any pics?

Actually it has a light clutch pedal if you keep the stock slave. I really liked it that way. If you switch to a 328 slave it will give a heavier feel.

gotcha. Looking for a heavy feel. So a 328IS slave would fit and give a heavier pedal feel? I was under the assumption it was due to the pressure plate.

Here are some pictures that I just took. I don't know where I put the bolts though. The clutch has been out of my car and sitting in my garage for about 6 months.

S52 and 5 speed is what I'm running.

That's what I've been told and that's what I've read. I thought that I would want a heavier clutch pedal. But I was convinced to just try it this way because a slave is easy to swap. I tried the lighter pedal feel and liked it.

You should have a ZF tranny found in 96+ M3s unless someone messed around with your car.
OBD1 e36 3 series (not M3s) were Getrag units
OBD2 328IS/I/IC were ZF units
