white is so clean ... love it ! I like the exhaust tip .. I might have to get me one of those .. any close up pics of the exhaust? did you get Umnitza AE 8000k blubs ? AE rings appears to be slight bluish green from the bumper reflection .. not a big fan of the beyran wheels but it works .. I must drop some pennies on all the mods .. any M5 mirrors or style mirros? btw, car sits very nicely!

i'll try and get some close up pics of the exhaust tommorow, sounds really good from behind, left the resonators on. can be a little drony between 2 and 3 rpm (going up hills, etc) but not too bad...ae's are 6000k....couldn't pass up on the beyern 5's, got the wheels AND tires for $790 (wheels used, tires new) wouldn't have been my first choice, but I had a budget and they work pretty well, actually most people really love them in person.

at first I didn't really think that I would do the M5 mirrors, but now looking at it all together I think it would just top off the look. I think I'll do it:stickoutt Got the link on that group buy thread?

thought really hard about painting the moldings white, but I did a lot of research on pics of other alpine whites and decided that I like the contrast of the black moldings better with the blacked out grill and tint...just my opinion though

I didn't buy shadowline trim. I bought 2 rolls of Trimbrite blackout auto tape from amazon.com for $12:stickoutt It actually looks really good. You really have to take your time cutting the edges with a nice razor blade or you will see the chrome on the edges. It took me about 4 hours total, but it looks clean. The Falken tires seem nice so far.

To tell you the truth I was really gonna do black rims with a polished lip after I saw the guy from Miami's car (I think TG5 screen name???), but I had my eye on the Beyern 5's as a second choice and then they came up for auction on Ebay for a used set. I coudln't pass it up...I got all four in perfect condition for $340:eyecrazy Plus, "TG5"??? from Miami wouldn't have been happy with a total copy cat car I'm sure. I still might do it though if an auction comes up on Ebay for a nice used set. Or if someone ever wants to sell some 18" or 19" black rims on this forum for a good price just PM me!

Thanks for all the compliments! I stressed for over 4 months trying to decide which mods to do...I guess I chose pretty good

Sweet looking ride, reminds me of what I did with my 528 a few years back.. and definitely get the m5 mirrors to complete the look! Great job!! Alpine white is definitely a real good color with the M5 kit, hell I think I get more looks with my 528 then my M haha.

Niiice. You know it looks EXACTLY like mine except the wheels. I have a 99 528 alpine m5 front mtech rear hella euro AEs side markers hella celis tails all with stealth bulbs. I should post pics later, I have the same magnaflow on the way and tint is coming up too. Everything else is the same. One question - did you have to cut or anything to fit the magnaflow in the rear cutout? Also, how would you rate its loudness? I'm looking to keep the resonators on and I hope its not too loud, I gotta stay professional.

First off...that is beautiful.
This is my first post. I've been on the site for a while, but your car made me want to post. I love it. The drop is perfect, and I was wondering where you got the springs and struts and how much you paid if you don't mind. I do have a set of black wheels. 19 inch. My account won't let me PM you, but I'll keep trying if you're interested.

Congratulations, and I would highly recommend m5 mirrors.

I did not have to cut out the rear. It was a very tight fit and I thought it might even burn the bumper being so close, but it has not even melted the slightest bit. The loudness from behind is perfect I think. It has a really nice pur on the V6, not obnoxious by any means. It can be a little drony sounding from the cabin between 2 and 3 rpms though. Once you get past 55mph it's not loud at all in the cabin.

I bought the springs, struts and mounts from a forum member slightly used for around $600. I have a set of brand new never used Eibach springs for sale for way cheap if you're interested...$150 shipped:eek: Really similar drop to the intrax springs.

Gosh why must you copy me! Just kidding! I didnt think I would go m5 mirrors but it looks awesome. Do you know if they have all the same functions as our mirrors now? *memory, tilt when in reverse, heat, etc* I really use the memory a lot when other people drive my car, also the tilting really helps with parallel parking here in Richmond.

Do you have measurements from center of wheelcap to top of arch for front and rear? I'm interested in lowering too, from sport suspension on my 528 and I really like your amount of drop!
