I'm looking at upgrading my side markers to the clear Euro ones. However, I see that ebay has tons of them up for auction but I don't want to buy just any cheap ones. Does anyone know if any of the side markers for sale on ebay are just as good as OEM? What brands should I look out for?

I just bought mine right after I got my car and they are great. They fit perefectly and look OEM. Here is the link the ones I bought you can view the guys ebay store and buy them. I got the set shipped for a total of about $27.00 Bucks.

I bought a set from this seller "revotec" on ebay for my E46 and they were of good quality and fit like a glove on my 328i...I just bought some for my E39 from the same seller...$11 plus $8 shipping for the pair...he has an auction that is about to end here:

It's in your manual but it's very easy. Take a flat head screwdriver and put a towel around the tip so you don't scratch anything. Put it at the front end of the side marker and push towards the back you will see that it moves back because of the metal spring type holder. At that point you can pull it out of the housing. Very simple really.

I just did the same thing. Mine arrived a about 5 days ago and I went and put them on. It's a really simple process, and it looks great. My front end is complete now. I put angels with the clear corners and now the clear side markers. Still waiting on the taillights, just not ready to pull the trigger yet...

I suggest you get some clear LED wedges that light up amber unless you like the clear blinking side markers.

yeah the eagle eye company is the same that i got mine from the other guy on ebay.

I kind of like the clear light turn signals more than amber.
